The Formula:

Combine (and store in a dark, cool pantry or cabinet):
Burdock Root: 6 and a half cups, cut root
Sheep Sorrel: 16 oz (powdered)
Slippery Elm Bark: 4 oz (powdered)
Turkey Rhubarb: 1 oz (powdered)

1. Bring two gallons (or 7.5 litres) of distilled water to a boil in a stainless steel or porcelain pot.

2. Add 8 ounces of Essiac powdered mix to the boiling water; boil hard for 10 minutes.

3. Allow to slowly cool and sit for at least 10 hours (overnight works well), stirring once or twice with a wooden or stainless spoon.

4. Turn on heat and bring to a full boil once again.

5. Remove from heat; allow to cool before straining through a fine, stainless strainer. (Note: you won't remove all of the precipitate – not a problem.)

6. Bottle the tea immediately in (preferably) dark amber bottles since exposure to light can decrease viability or efficacy. (Since a refrigerator is dark, you can use clear glass bottles or jars and make smaller quantities of tea more often.)

7. Store in the refrigerator.

Directions for use:
A therapeutic dose is about 6 fluid ounces of prepared tea a day, taken at 3 or 2 ounce doses, 2 – 3 times per day, respectively. Preventative or maintenance dosage is about half that amount. (My husband did 3 ounces each morning and evening during his illness, then continued with 3 ounces each morning after he was well again. Being healthy, I drink 3 ounces every morning as a tonic and preventative.)

You can drink the tea at full strength or dilute it with a couple of ounces of warm distilled water. (It does not have an unpleasant or strong flavor. It's more an earthy, herb taste.) Take it on an empty stomach (at least an hour after eating), sipping slowly. Do not eat or drink anything besides water for an hour or more to allow the body to fully absorb it. Some recommend shaking the bottle first to mix in the solid precipitate at the bottom.

Since the tea does have diuretic and detoxifying effect, it is recommended to drink a lot of water during the day to help the body flush and eliminate. Avoiding additional toxins in food and clothing is also recommended at any time.

This concludes this  series of articles on the great potential that Essiac tea has for relieving the symptoms of chemotherapy, let alone mentioning the seemingly miraculous quality and genuine possibility of inducing remission from malignant cancerous tumors - removing and so healing cancer permanently.
