Clarifying the Use of These Meditation Audios

The first 30 minute recording brings your brainwaves down through the alpha and theta range to the mid-delta frequency. The second recording of 15 minutes will enable you to stay at that level. The 2nd audio should not be listened to first, nor without immediately preceding it with the first recording since it will not function in producing a steady descent. If you wish to extend your meditation with these recordings beyond 45 minutes, you can just repeat the 2nd recording again and again. An alternative is to make multiple copies of this 2nd file renaming them ofc_meditation_a.01b1.mp3 and ofc_meditation_a.01b2.mp3 and so on. In addition, the following points must be followed for full effectiveness and consistancy:

- You must use headphones. They should be light, comfortable and able to give an even or equal volume to each ear. For example, headphones that rest against the outside of your ear will generally perform more consistantly than earphones that actually stick into the ear.

- Setting the Volume is very important. These recordings are extremely powerful and may cause unpleasant side-effects such as headaches and nausea if excessive volume is used. The volume should be set so that you are barely able to hear the low "hum" of the brain-wave embedded carrier sound. Once turned down to the point where the sound is barely audible, you can squeze the headphones nearer to your ears to confirm that there is some sound still audible. It is far better to start with too little volume and increase it should there be no effect, than to start with even a slightly loud volume. Once you have this volume level worked out, it all becomes very easy and wonderfully valuable as a tool and support for your meditation.
